Street Photography in Istanbul

I visited Istanbul in January 2023 for 1 week. I had never been to Turkey before and it was high on my ‘street photography bucket list’. Istanbul is full of history and culture, making it ideal for photography in general. Not only are the streets lined with really cool architecture, but place is full of friendly locals who seems totally okay with you taking photos.

Whether you’re looking to capture the hustle and bustle of the Grand Bazaar, or the characters and life on the Galata Bridge, Istanbul is a street photographer’s paradise.

Here are a collection of my favourite images from trip.
